You're speaking major facts i got into tbe boxtruckin business for the 2nd time a few months ago and the only reason im surviving is because A. Im driving the truck and when i say drivin im talking really drivin like out for 3 weeks at a time going cross country im talkin 3 hours of sleep some night's, B. Luckily i have and know a few others in the industry that i can rely on to ask the necessary questions C. Although i know some small basics in mechanics i have those in my circle that are mechanics and know what theyre doing so when i need repairs/services im not gonna get charged and arm and a leg like any other person would thats just hopping into the busineas with hopes and dreams and a couole dollars so when breakdowns happen or time for tuneups theyll go to whatever auto shop thats closest, D. Im willing to work those little to no sleep days/nights. People comin from someone thats in it currently and doing the things a lot of yall would never agree to do (i hate it myself) pleaae listen to this man! This industry is not for everyone and especially not in todays market which is in one of the worst in years. The only people makin the real money are the damn brokers period! Way too many drivers (especially new and unexperienced ) that are willing to slave away for less than minimum wage because some of them they might not even speak a lick of English so they cant do anything but get behind the wheel, and in turn that only drives the pay way lower. Unless youre willing to say by by to any family time and put the rest of your projects/life on hold and really really grind this aint the time or industry to try and hop into! Its really not as lucrative as some paint it especially if you k ow nothing about this business and have no money in surplass

We are with penske, and not 1 hour ago, they told us to turn in our trucks because we showed proof that they are taking money from our account and then charging us a third time but didn't think we'd consult with our bank. Now we chance loosing our Amazon account what do we do we need to keep working

Please brother explain to us used truck and new truck owner how to make sure the cost per mile and operation cost is low. What are the things this two categories need to do to make sure that there operation cost is low?
